November 15th 2012 INVSOC Potluck

Tonights potluck celebrated Dr Luke graduating, after many years of hard work to become a medical professional.  We've loved having you here Luke, and wish you well for your work in Gisborne :-)

We've doctors *and* nurses in the Invercargill Vegan Society :-)

I brought Indian Seasoned Potatoes (cumin, fenugreek, coriander, mustard and sesame seeds...), vegan custard and cheese brought down by my friend Jen :-)

Listen to what we each brought while you look through our photos :-)

Our November potluck (ignore that little 1st of November thing) was held at Russell and Noelle's house.  They have a beautiful vegetable garden :-)

And Kira, a very friendly dog :-)

Russell challenged us to guess what he was making for our potluck, posting this sneak peek photo on Facebook...

We discovered he'd made a mushroom lentil pie, with the word VEGAN emblazoned across the top! :-)

After we destroyed the pie crust's integrity, like an earthquake swallowing up the Hollywood sign!

Top left Seitan, top right Calzone, bottom left seasoned potatoes, bottom right mushroom lentil pie.

Aftermath, with deserts, Custard, chocolate dipped strawberries, watermelon, Turkish Delight, rasbperry tart, cake.

Take care Dr Luke!  Best wishes from all your friends at the Invercargill Vegan Society, we hope to see you again soon :-)
